Multitech Sealers LLC Frequently Asked Questions

Learn More About Multitech Sealers LLC

  • What happens when water gets behind stucco?

When water gets behind stucco, the stucco will become damaged over time due to mold, staining, and blistering. The stucco will need to be replaced, which is much more costly than applying sealant before the problems begin in order to prevent them.

  • Will sealant change the color of my brick or stucco?

Sealant is not supposed to change the color of your brick or stucco. To be safe, Multitech Sealers LLC will test the brick sealant in a small spot to make sure there is no color change before beginning the application.

  • How often should I apply sealant?

Multitech Sealers LLC suggests having stucco and brick sealant applied every seven years. This frequency can vary depending on the weather, and we will be happy to discuss it with you.

  • What should I do to prepare for my service?

If possible, please take the screens off of your sliding doors. This will ensure that they stay clean during the stucco resealing. If you'd like help with this, or with removing shutters, we can include this as part of the service. The price will be applied to the upfront quote.

  • How do you apply sealant to brick?

Multitech Sealers LLC applies brick sealant using a 1200 PSI pump sprayer, which allows for an efficient and even application. We're confident that you will be satisfied with the work we complete.

  • Why have my brick pavers turned white?

Brick pavers turn white because of the phenomenon of efflorescence. This occurs when water-soluble salts migrate to the surface of the brick. To correct this, you'll need to have them cleaned and sealed with brick sealant.

  • When is the best time to apply sealant?

Multitech Sealers LLC can apply stucco and brick sealant when temperatures are above 50 degrees. Conditions must be dry before and after the application for the best results.

  • How long do I have to stay off my pavers after they are sealed?

Multitech Sealers LLC suggests waiting 24 hours before walking on your pavers. This allows the brick sealant to set and ensures high quality even after the job is completed.

  • Why do I need to seal my surfaces?

Brick and stucco resealing add a protective coating to prevent moisture and water damage. This will ensure your pavers last a long time before needing to be replaced. According to Forbes, with the proper maintenance (including resealing), stucco can last over 50 years. Call today to increase the life of your surfaces.
